Shelterbelt Fund

A shelterbelt is a line of trees and/or shrubbery that is planted to protect against strong winds and erosion and advances sustainability. Dr. Gabe and Annie Berendes created this donor advised fund to provide grants and support for the community and make positive social change. The Berendes’ intend to involve their young children in the grant making process of this fund, developing and planting the next generation of philanthropists.
