June Kjome Justice and Peace Fund

The June Kjome Justice and Peace Fund supports educational efforts which encourage community members to be informed about, and active in, issues of justice and peace at the local, national and international levels.

In 2019, the fund supported three grant requests totaling $5,100:

$3,000 to support the Pretty Brown Girl project in the School District of La Crosse

$1,050 to support an experience with Bill Miller at Northside Elementary School in La Crosse

$1,050 to sponsor the 2019 Voices of Men Call to Action events in the La Crosse area

Thanks to the June Kjome Justice and Peace Committee for selecting three projects that will promote justice and peace in our community.
