La Crosse Area Community Foundation has expanded its team. Ellen Heydon is the foundation’s new grants specialist, and Andi Reisdorf is its new donor services specialist.
The expansion comes as LACF has experienced significant growth in the last five years, adding more than 100 new funds and three new affiliate partner organizations.
Heydon brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit development and a significant background in grant writing, fundraising, and strategic planning. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is currently completing a master’s degree in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Heydon’s expertise spans annual campaigns, donor communications, grassroots campaigns, and digital communications, among many other areas. In her new role, she’ll assist nonprofit organizations with competitive grant applications.
Reisdorf comes to La Crosse Area Community Foundation from a Viroqua-based nonprofit organization. She holds a master’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University. Reisdorf’s background in biological research and administrative roles has equipped her with exceptional data management, communication, and organizational skills. Additionally, her dedication to community and sustainability aligns well with LACF’s mission.
“Ellen and Andi bring unique skills and experiences that will create new efficiencies and enhance our ability to serve nonprofit organizations and donors,” said Jamie Schloegel, CEO of La Crosse Area Community Foundation. “Ellen’s proven track record in grant writing and strategic planning, combined with Andi’s meticulous data management and passion for community, will contribute greatly to fulfilling our mission success.”
