Announcing seven new funds in first quarter
We’ve had a busy start to the year, and are thrilled to report that our board of directors recently approved seven new La Crosse Community Foundation funds.
One of my absolute favorite things is helping people establish funds that best reflect their charitable goals. It’s so much fun learning about what drives folks to choose the most sustainable way of supporting the communities we love. And because we can flexibly adapt to the needs of new fund holders, it makes starting a fund so simple and exciting.
Check out the newest members of the LCF fund family!

Charles & Cheryl Hanson Riverside International Friendship Gardens Fund | Designated | This fund was established by Charles and Cheryl Hanson to promote and sustain the vision of the Riverside International Friendship Gardens, which is to celebrate the beauty in the diverse cultures of the world while also recognizing that we are all part of the same good Earth and are responsible for protecting it for ourselves and our posterity. |

The gardens are the result of a unique public-private partnership, and currently include gardens celebrating and recognizing La Crosse's sister-city relationships with communities in China, Germany, France, Russia, Norway, Ireland, and new in 2020, Cameroon. |
