Giving Tuesday was a wild success, thanks to this incredibly generous community!
All 10 nonprofits with the $1,000 match challenge met and EXCEEDED their goals!
In addition, LCF matched 20 donors’ gifts of $500 to the charity of their choice and met them on Giving Tuesday at their chosen nonprofit for a check presentation.
RESULTS:
$45,628 raised for local nonprofits
$20,000 matched by LCF
$65,628 total dollars given to support nonprofits!
What an incredible day for giving in the Coulee Region!
Here’s the list of nonprofits who participated:
Aptiv, Boys & Girls Club of Greater La Crosse, La Crosse Chamber Chorale, Habitat for Humanity – La Crosse Area, HorseSense, League of Women Voters – La Crosse, New Horizons Shelter and Outreach Center, La Crosse Promise, La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, YWCA, Bethany Lutheran Homes – Hearten House I, La Crosse County Historical Society, Black Leaders Acquiring Collective Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.), Holmen Area Community Center, AVCAP, La Crosse Public Education Foundation, Coulee Council on Addictions, Planned Parenthood, Children’s Museum, Norskedalen, La Crosse County System of Care, Salvation Army, Mid West Music Fest, and La Crosse SOUP. Whew! That’s quite a list!
