Surprise a Nonprofit this Giving Tuesday!

Last year, all La Crosse Community Foundation board members and staff selected a nonprofit to surprise with a giant $1000 check on Giving Tuesday. Eighteen local nonprofits received gifts! What fun!

 

This year, you are invited to join in on this festive dogooding celebration! Up to 20 people have the chance to donate $500, LCF will match it, and together we’ll present your favorite nonprofit with a $1000 giant check on Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3).

 

The first 20 people who commit need to make their $500 gift to LCF no later than Tuesday, Nov. 26. Then we will cut a $1,000 check to the donor’s selected charity and present that to them on Giving Tuesday. The check presentations will be shared on Facebook.

In 2019, LCF has committed $20,000 in matching gifts for Giving Tuesday. In addition to matching individual donors, we selected 10 nonprofits to be eligible for a $1,000 matching grant for all gifts received on Giving Tuesday.
